Baghdad - Mawazine News, the
appearance of Mohammed Saleh, financial advisor to the Prime Minister, denied on Tuesday what he published on the website of a commercial agency attributed to him that Iraq owes Kuwait about seven billion dollars, stressing that he never made any statement in this regard.
Saleh said in an interview singled out by Mawazine News that "his previous statements, which were prepared according to a study and based on research information, and all the compensation of the Kuwait war on Iraq, amounted to no more than two billion dollars."
The financial advisor called on journalists and media professionals to "the accuracy of the information, especially with regard to the financial and monetary calculation numbers, as it causes disruptions in the news and affects the validity of the information and its implications for the honesty of economic understanding of public opinion."
