    Revealed a parliamentary committee in parliament, Iraq's external debt, noting that it has reached the stage of danger to the   economic future.
    Ahmad al-Jubouri, a member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee, told the official Al-Sabah newspaper that `` the committee has already suspended debts, especially foreign, in the 2019 budget, at a time when there is an obligation to continue the debt as it was during the war on ISIS gangs in the provinces of Nineveh, Anbar and Salah al-Din. ''
    He noted that "debt, especially foreign, amounted to 125 billion dollars."
    He warned that "its survival portends a threat to the economic future of Iraq," pointing to "the presence of 20 paragraphs of debt will be in the budget 2020".
    According to the International Monetary Fund, Iraq's debts have worsened over the past years, from $ 73.1 billion six years ago, rising to $ 75.2 billion in 2014.In 2015, it was $ 98.0 billion and $ 114.6 billion two years ago, rising in 2017 to $ 122.9 billion.
