Parliamentary Finance: Foreign debt threatens the future of Iraq

A member of the Finance Committee Jamal Koger said in a press statement: "There are loans owed by [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] due to payment and contained in the budget law, consisting of 27 loans internally and externally distributed to various financial institutions."
"The foreign loans account for 90 percent of the loans, which amount to 23 loans, while the number of domestic loans is about four loans," he said. "The payment of these loans has been ongoing since previous governments."
