Legal expert: 15 days separating entering the country by constitutional vacuum

On Sunday, legal expert Ali Al-Tamimi confirmed that the country had not entered the constitutional void yet, noting that 15 days remained from the caretaker government and the constitutional void after the transfer of power to the President of the Republic.
Al-Tamimi told Al-Maalouma that the constitution set a period of 15 days for the President of the Republic to present a candidate who would form the government after voting to resign or dismiss the government.
He added that "the President of the Republic took the time and addressed the Federal Court to find out the largest bloc in order to obtain additional time," noting that "the court came quickly and cut the additional period by defining the features of the largest bloc."
He explained that "according to the constitution after the end of the period and not presenting a candidate, the caretaker government will continue for a month, including the nomination period."
He continued, "The constitutional vacuum will be 15 days after the end of the work of the caretaker government and the transfer of the country's authority to the President of the Republic."
