Baghdad Operations confirms its commitment to protect demonstrators and calls on them to do so

{Baghdad: Al Furat News} The Baghdad Operations Command confirmed today, Monday, its commitment to protecting the demonstrators and securing the demonstration squares in the capital.
The Security Media Cell said in a statement, which the {Euphrates News} received, a copy of it, “The Baghdad Operations Command fully adheres to the directives of the Prime Minister and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces in protecting peaceful demonstrators and securing the main protest square in Baghdad {Tahrir Square} and the surrounding areas.”
The leadership calls on "all peaceful demonstrators to stay away from friction with the security forces and prevent groups trying to provoke violence from penetrating inside the demonstration square."
She reiterated her "high thanks and appreciation for the great cooperation shown by the peaceful demonstrators with the security forces throughout last night and this morning, against fighting the closure of the streets and rejecting all scenes of violence and breaking the law." is over
