Committee member Fadhel Jaber Al-Fatlawi said, “The committee set in its calculations the level of the poverty line for poor, disadvantaged and destitute families, confirming their inclusion in programs that can advance the bitter reality they suffer from.

In the same context, the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs confirmed the inclusion of new payments to provide for the unemployed if financial allocations are available.
The head of the field monitoring team for the Ministry of Labor Salem said that “there are large numbers of unemployed registered within the ministry’s database,” pointing out that “the ministry intends to launch new meals from grants for the unemployed once the financial allocations are available.
He continued, "The Ministry is discussing a proposal that the grant be fixed monthly," noting that "the ministry launched the first batch of the jobless grant in Baghdad and the provinces and for
different groups ."
