"I thank the supreme authority for its patriarchal role for all of our dear countrymen, and I pledge to commit to providing job opportunities for citizens, fighting corruption, and dissolving economic committees," Allawi said in a speech he followed.
He added: "I pledge to confine arms to the state and work hard to hold early elections." He called for "opening direct dialogue with peaceful demonstrators."
And he added: "I pledge to form an advisory group in the Prime Minister's office, and I also pledge to form a government representing all spectrums away from quotas and partisanship."
Allawi stressed that he would reject any candidate for the ministerial cabinet from the political blocs.
And he "will continue to investigate the events of the demonstrations, to release the peaceful demonstrators," he also pledged "to commit to involving the competent people in forming the government and reject the candidates of political forces." 25 n ended
