    {International: Al Furat News} Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi and Iranian President Hosni Rouhani discussed in a telephone call today, Monday, the path of developing bilateral relations between the two countries and cooperation in facing the Corona pandemic crisis.
    A statement by the Iranian Presidency stated that Rouhani told Al-Kazemi that "Iran stands on the side of the government and people of Iraq all the time and emphasized the development of bilateral relations between the two countries and the implementation of the memoranda of partnership concluded between the two sides and stressed the necessity of bilateral partnership to establish security and stability in the region."
    Rouhani stressed that “Iran fully supports the Iraqi government for its accomplishments in the interest of the Iraqi people,” expressing its congratulations to Al-Kazemi for his election as the new prime minister, saying: “We are glad that an expert and familiar with the developments of recent years in Iraq takes over the tasks in this country.
    ” Rouhani stated that "The independence of Iraq, political stability, national sovereignty and the unity of Iraq are important to us, expressing his hope that the friendly relations and bilateral events between Tehran and Baghdad will develop more than before."
    “We always stand with the government and people of Iraq, saying, 'We must warn the actions of the conspirators who have targeted the interests of Iraq and the people of the region.”
    Rouhani stressed the need for bilateral partnership to establish security and stability in the region, saying: “As we demonstrated in the fight against ISIS terrorist We also stand with the Iraqi people, and today we also stand with the Iraqi government to establish stability and Iraqi progress. ”
    President Rouhani pointed to the outbreak of new Coronavirus among the countries of the world, describing the exchange of information and experiences between the two countries in this field as necessary and declared his readiness for any assistance to Iraq in a path Combating the Corona pandemic.
     For his part, the Prime Minister described in this telephone conversation, the Islamic Republic of Iran a friendly and brotherly country to Iraq and said: "We do not forget Iran's assistance as a central country in the region in establishing peace and stability in Iraq, especially ISIS, and we want to develop events with Iran in all fields."
    Al-Kazemi stressed that the world and the region are going through sensitive circumstances and said: "Any problem will be settled through rationality and logic, and I hope that we will overcome the existing problems thanks to the close and close cooperation between the two countries."
