, Minister of Agriculture of the Kurdistan Region, Bikard Talabani, confirmed on Sunday the formation of a high committee to deal with the issue of financial dues for the region's farmers.
Talabani said in a joint press conference with Federal Minister of Agriculture Saleh Al-Hassani in Baghdad, "It was agreed to form a supreme committee to address the problem of the dues of farmers in the Kurdistan region, and work to achieve equality between the farmers of the region and the rest of the provinces of Iraq."
For his part, Al-Hassani stressed, "The necessity of providing the supplies to farmers and enabling them to obtain their financial dues for the years 2014, 2015 and 2016, by the Federal Ministry of Trade."
He added, "There is no distinction between farmers in the region and the rest of the Iraqi provinces." Ended 29 / h
