The price of the OPEC basket of oil rose, on Tuesday, to more than 68 dollars, affected by the increase in other oil materials.
OPEC stated in a report seen by Shafaq News, “The price of OPEC's basket of thirteen barrels of crude rose by 1.14 dollars to reach 68.17 dollars, compared to Friday, when the price reached 67.03 dollars.
Some specialists attributed the rise in OPEC prices, as a result of being affected by other raw materials, which were also affected by OPEC's keeping production without an increase.
The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) reference basket consists of the following: Sahara Blend (Algeria), Girasole (Angola), Djeno (Congo), Zafiro (Equatorial Guinea), Spring Light (Gabon), Heavy Iran (Islamic Republic of Iran) Iran ), Basra Light (Iraq), Kuwait Export (Kuwait), S Sidr (Libya), Bonny Light (Nigeria), Arab Light (Saudi Arabia), Murban (United Arab Emirates) and Miri (Venezuela).
