Representative Alia Nassif called on the Integrity Commission to open an investigation regarding the contract to purchase flour from Mosul mills.
Nassif said in a statement copy of it, addressing the Integrity Commission, "We refer to you the request of a group of Iraqi companies to show what is happening by the companies submitted to the tender for the transfer of flour from Mosul mills to agents inside the province."
She added, "The companies bidding for the tender intend to steal the flour material, and the evidence is that the wheel plate numbers are unofficial and out of service," stressing that the cars "do not exist on the ground, and the aforementioned car numbers belong to each of the companies (Barakat Elaf and Zahra Al Hamed).
Nassif requested, "checking and seeing the cars, as well as for the General Traffic Directorate to intervene to prevent the theft and conduct an investigation."
