Al-Abadi said in a tweet on Twitter: "We have to meet the demands of the Iraqi people and not underestimate the demonstrators."
He added, "Perhaps the number of demonstrators who attend the demonstration squares is not very large, but through our data there is popular sympathy for them and we must respond to their legitimate requests."
