    Analyst and economic expert Hammam Al-Shamaa affirmed, today, Wednesday, that Iraq is able to recover its looted funds, provided the political will is present.


    "It is possible to recover the money if there is a real political will and legal and financial cadres capable of working to recover it," Al-Shamaa said during his speech to Alsumaria News.

    He explained, "It is difficult to know the exact size of the looted money, but there are estimates indicating that its size is around 300 billion dollars and may be more than that because the thieves have invested that money in real estate or other projects.
