Finalizing the designs for establishing 1000 schools within the Chinese agreement

The Ministry of Construction, Housing and Public Municipalities announced, on Saturday, the completion of the designs for establishing a thousand schools in Baghdad and the provinces within the Chinese agreement .
The director of the National Center for Engineering Consulting in the ministry, Hassan Madab Mejhem, said in a statement reported by Al-Sabah newspaper that “the center has completed the designs of the Thousand School Project, which was included in the current year 2021 budget after obtaining the approval of the Ministries of Planning and Finance,” indicating that “the choice fell on 4 companies. "Chinese by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Chinese Embassy in Beijing to build schools ."
"The center has also prepared designs for equipping and furnishing schools after reviewing the latest global developments in teaching methods and preparing a feasibility study, so it was submitted to the Chinese companies to be equipped according to the center's plans and with the latest technology, " Mjhem said.
He indicated that "a twinning will be created between local, private, governmental and Chinese companies in order to gain experience in the field of construction and reconstruction," noting that "the success of the experiment, after its evaluation, will push it to circulate with other countries and in different sectors, whether schools or hospitals, as well as infrastructure services and roads."
