    [size=45]Today, Monday, the Kurdistan Region Investment Authority called on Emirati companies to invest in 4 sectors in the region, especially in the energy and agricultural sectors.[/size]
    [size=45]This came during a televised meeting that brought together the president of the region’s investment commission, Muhammad Shukri, the head of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Muhammad Hilal al-Muhairi, and the Emirati consul in the region, Ahmed Al Dhaheri.[/size]
    [size=45]In a statement, Shukri said that the meeting discussed how to encourage Emirati companies to invest in the region and fields of work.[/size]
    [size=45]He added that the region is ready for investments in terms of land, natural resources, raw materials, and well-experienced manpower, in addition to legal procedures.[/size]
    [size=45]He continued by saying, "We welcome foreign investments, including the Emirati, and we will provide them with all possible support and facilities."[/size]
    [size=45]Shukri referred to the areas of investment opportunities that he placed in front of the Emirati side, saying: "We have many opportunities and we invite Emirati companies to invest in the petrochemicals, tourism and industry sectors."[/size]
    [size=45]And he added, "We very much want to invest in agricultural fields, because the Kurdistan Region is in dire need of investment in the sector."[/size]
    [size=45]Shukri said that the head of the Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Emirati Consul in Erbil expressed their readiness to invite Emirati investors to come to the region, adding, "We have informed the Emirati side that they have a group of advanced companies in the field of agriculture and we will encourage them to invest in this sector."[/size]
    [size=45]He also continued his speech by saying that the Emirati side hoped that cooperation and coordination with the Regional Investment Commission would continue to work on the arrival of Emirati companies to the region.[/size]
