{Baghdad: Al Furat News} Today, Sunday, Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi laid the cornerstone for the fourth gasoline improvement units (CCR) and naphtha hydrogenation (NHT) units in Basra Governorate, within the work of the Southern Projects Commission in the Oil Projects Company of the Ministry of Oil.

"The government's keenness and seriousness in developing the oil industries in Iraq, as it is one of the important pillars of the Iraqi economy and its development, as well as its contribution to increasing financial revenues, and reducing dependence on importing fuel products to the stage of self-sufficiency," Al-Kazemi stressed, according to a statement by his office.
The Prime Minister arrived Sunday morning in Basra Governorate.
