, the President and members of the Federal Court took the constitutional oath, on Sunday, before the President of the Republic.

The President of the Republic, Barham Salih, said, during the swearing-in, that "Iraq has taken an important step towards completing the requirements of one of its most important constitutional institutions."
Yesterday, the President of the Republic signed a decree that includes the names of 12 judges to assume their duties in the Federal Supreme Court.
According to the decree, Judge Jassem Al-Amiri will assume the position of presiding over the court, as well as 8 judges who are original members of the court, while the decree also includes 3 reserve members.
