    Today, Thursday, the Integrity Commission thwarted the sale of a property worth half a billion dinars with forged firsts in Najaf Governorate.
    The authority said in a statement, “Based on a judicial arrest warrant, it reported that a team had moved from the Authority’s investigation office in the Najaf governorate to the Real Estate Registration Directorate in the governorate, where the team was able to seize a forged sale transaction for a property located in a privileged location with an area of ​​(460 square meters) Pointing out that its value is estimated at more than (500,000,000) million Iraqi dinars.
    She indicated that “information has been received by the field team of the Ministry of Justice through the Director of the First Real Estate Registration in Najaf, stating that one of the gangs engaged in the operations of forging the signatures and seals of the Real Estate Registration Department employees and other departments in the governorate promoted a forged sale of the property belonging to the municipality of Najaf, Noting that the commission’s investigation office in the governorate has formed a work team that, upon receiving the information and the issuance of the judicial arrest warrant, has moved to the directorate’s headquarters and seized the priorities and fraudulent treatment.
    She added, "The team's initial investigations revealed the existence of a copy of the property with forged signatures and seals of the registrar employee, pointing out that there are signatures and seals in the statement (sale) transaction, which turned out to be fake as well, while the team concluded that all the books linked in the property file are not original, including The Najaf municipality's letter containing the allocation of the property to a person, the letter of the General Real Estate Registration Directorate and the inspection record; The fact that these firsts are illustrated and devoid of any margins or numbers included, making sure that there are many inconsistencies in names and dates.
