governor of Salah al-Din approved, on Wednesday, the suspension of about 600 projects, describing these projects as completely useless.
According to the official newspaper, Ammar al-Jabr said, "There are 1500 projects in Salah al-Din, 600 of which are useless and need 3 budgets to complete, although they cannot do anything important to the governorate."
He stated that "it is unreasonable that the governorate benefits purely profitable companies that have come up with these projects that cannot advance the province a step forward, and leave development service projects that cannot be completed with the existence of projects that have stalled for decades."
He added that "the governorate has suggested stopping these projects at the present time, and moving towards development projects that can serve the citizen and advance the governorate to place it in the ranks of the distinguished regions in the country."
