    {Local: Al Furat News} A member of the Commission for Human Rights, Fadel Al-Gharawi, confirmed that deducting 50% of the real compensation rate for properties damaged as a result of terrorist operations constitutes a flagrant violation of human rights.

    Al-Gharawi said in a statement that the agency {Euphrates News} received a copy of, that "the compensation was set to redress the victims' damage and restore the situation to a place it previously had, and no party has the right to deduct any percentage of the real compensation decided by the competent committees because it is a violation of the compensation law, the constitution and international covenants in reparation." Harm".
    He demanded "the government and the Ministry of Finance to cancel the deduction percentage established according to the foundations prepared by the ministry, amounting to 50% of the property compensation amounts, paying the real compensation amounts to the affected citizens, and asking the sub- and central committees to expedite the settlement of the compensation file to compensate victims, facilitate the return of the displaced and rehabilitate the destroyed areas."
