{Local: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Electricity issued, on Thursday, a clarification regarding the dues of Iranian gas.
The ministry said in a statement received by {Euphrates News} that it "denies what was reported by some news agencies, that the Electricity Authority announced the government's intention to liquidate the dues of the Iranian side."
The statement added, "What the Ministry of Electricity announced earlier in 2021 was that it was ready to pay all dues of the current supplied gas for the value of gas supply for the year 2021."
The ministry confirmed, "It has actually paid the bills for the supplied and fully supplied gas, except for the month of December of 2021, in the credit funds."
And she warned, "The news agencies, news, and satellite channels should not cut statements and fragment them in a false way, and shade citizens and public opinion with misleading and false news."
