    Al-Maalouma/Baghdad...
The Ministry of Electricity issued a clarification today, Sunday, regarding the delay in the salaries of its employees.
The media office of the Ministry of Electricity stated, in a statement received by /Al-Maalouma/ Agency, that "the ministry is fully aware that the only and safe income for the employee is (the monthly salary) and its delay causes great embarrassment."
He added, "The delay in disbursing salaries is not due to the ministry's procedures," noting that "the Ministry of Finance was provided with all the salary lists that were requested from our ministry late." It
pointed out that "coordination is underway with the Ministry of Finance and funding letters will be secured to release the salaries of our members today, Sunday." End/25
