The winning deputy, Jamal Kougar, confirmed, on Sunday, that the House of Representatives in its fifth session will hold its first session today, amid an agreement to choose the Speaker and his two deputies, ruling out that the first session of the House of Representatives will remain open.
Cougar said in a statement to "Al-Maalouma", that "Article 50 of the constitution stipulates that members of the House of Representatives take the constitutional oath before the House before it begins its work."
He added that "the quorum for the first session is achieved in the presence of the absolute majority of its members, and the political blocs used to agree on naming presidencies before the first session," noting that "the position of Parliament Speaker and his two deputies will be decided by the major political forces."
