    Earth News/ General Manager of the General Airlines Company Abbas Omran Al-Zubaidi held an extensive meeting with representatives of BOEING Aircraft Industry to discuss future plans between the two parties.
    Al-Zubaidi said, in a statement received by Earth News, that "the meeting, which was held according to the directives of the Minister of Transport, Nasser Hussein Bandar Al-Shibli, included a study of the status of Iraqi Airways and a review of the two contracts for receiving the B787 and B737 MAX aircraft and the preparation steps for receiving them, as well as studying the aspects related to operation." Successful and controlling the maintenance activities of those aircraft in accordance with the required specifications.
    For its part, BOEING confirmed its "full readiness to provide support and support to Iraqi Airways in all respects, especially as it is taking important steps to exit the European embargo."
