    [size=45]The Administrative Undersecretary of the Ministry of Migration and Displacement, Dr. Karim Al-Nouri, received today, Monday, the Ambassador of the State of the Kingdom of Norway in Iraq, Mr. Espen Avent Lindbeck, and the Chargé d’Affairs, Mr. Eric Bagger Hosem, at the ministry’s building in the center of the capital, Baghdad, in the presence of the directors of the Departments of Branches and Immigration Affairs.[/size]
     
    [size=45]The two sides discussed the situation of the Iraqis in Norway, the situation of the Iraqi community whose requests were rejected and the need to find appropriate mechanisms to encourage them to return voluntarily, stressing the rejection of the forced return of all Iraqi refugees, as well as addressing the file of internal displacement and the voluntary return of the displaced.[/size]
     
    [size=45]Al-Nouri said that "the illegal Iraqi immigrants must be motivated to voluntarily return to the homeland by providing financial and moral support, noting that the forced return violates human rights laws, as well as his thanks to His Excellency the Norwegian Ambassador, congratulating him at the same time assuming the duties of his new position as ambassador to Iraq."[/size]
     
    [size=45]For his part, Ambassador Espen Avent Lindback expressed his pleasure at receiving him in the ministry, explaining that Norway is committed to providing aid and funds to contribute to the return of the displaced and the establishment of security in Iraq, noting that his country knows the extent of the destruction inflicted on Iraq during the invasion of ISIS terrorist gangs.[/size]
