The former Minister, Wael Abdel Latif, revealed, on Thursday, the escalation of bids and temptations for independent deputies to join the political blocs in order to name the largest bloc, indicating that the Federal Court set a deadline for naming the largest bloc until the election of the President of the Republic.
Abdul Latif said in a statement to "Al-Maalouma" that "the interpretation of the Federal Court ended the previous interpretation regarding the largest bloc, which was called in the first session of the House of Representatives, and gave the political forces a deadline until the election of the President of the Republic."
He added, "The papers I submitted regarding proving the largest bloc are illegal and are awaiting the election of the President of the Republic and handing him the lists of the largest bloc in order to assign its candidate to head the government."
Abdel Latif pointed out that “the last explanation opened an auction for independent representatives and small blocs to attract them to the larger blocs and give them privileges in order to win the nomination of the largest bloc before the President of the Republic.” End / 25d
