, the head of the State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, called, on Wednesday, to invest the "great achievement" represented by Iraq's exit from Chapter VII, to unite the word and "give priority to the interests of the country and the nation, leading to the formation of a government of national service."
Al-Hakim said, "The UN Security Council's decision to remove Iraq from Chapter VII was the result of great national efforts that were made to obtain our sovereignty and independence. Those who sought it with the might of dear Iraq (Jerusalem) and embarked on its path and continued it until its last days, and urged us and the patriots with us to continue the journey until achieving desired goal.”
Al-Hakim added in a statement received by Mawazine News, "While we congratulate our people for this great achievement, we call for investing this occasion to unify the word and transcend special interests and give priority to the interests of the country and the nation, leading to the formation of a national service government that is fair to the people and fulfills their hopes."
And Foreign Minister Fouad Hussein announced, earlier today, Wednesday, that Iraq had exited from Chapter VII procedures. Ended 29/N33
