The financial advisor to the Prime Minister, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, confirmed today, Monday, that the government's preparation of a draft law that includes continued financing of projects is an important and exceptional measure.
Saleh said, "Preparing a draft law that includes the continuation of project financing and sending it to Parliament is an important and highly responsible measure in approving important and priority new development projects for 2022, and at an early date without linking the issue to the legislation of the Federal General Budget Law, which is currently suspended due to the current political situation."
He stressed, "his support for such a responsible, alternative and exceptional approach in investing time in the interest of early implementation of new national development projects, through single legislation until the approval of the Federal General Budget Law for the year 2022."
He continued, "Whereas such allocations are usually included for the implementation of the package of new government investment projects, which are included in the investment spending side of the mentioned budget when legislating the budget law itself, which has not been legislated until the present time."
