    The economic advisor to the Prime Minister, Mazhar Muhammad Salih, admitted, on Tuesday, that there is confusion in the feasibility study and the mechanisms for implementing the project to transport oil from Basra to the port of Aqaba, indicating that the dispute over the feasibility of the project is large and thorny, which will postpone the resolution of the issue.

    . Saleh said in a televised interview that "Al-Maalouma" followed that "the project to transport oil from Basra through the port of Aqaba in Jordan is still under study, design and evaluation, and there are no signs of implementation."
    He added, "The Iraqi side discussed referring it to the bot method, that is, investing for a certain period until it is received from the continuous after a certain period, or through the allocation of funds, while the project will be financed by the Jordanian side in a completely different way," noting that "the government needs to hold a conference before Specialists in order to study the details of the project and large and comprehensive studies before starting to lay the pipeline.”
    Saleh explained that "the project entered into a great controversy, and Parliament moved to stop it, and it filed a complaint against the project in order to issue a loyalty order by the competent courts, considering the government a conduct of business, which will lead to a delay in resolving the issue for a longer period."
