    Today, Wednesday, the United Nations Development Program launched a catalytic climate action project in Iraq.
    The reporter of the Iraqi News Agency (INA) said, "The United Nations Development Program, in partnership with Canada and the United Kingdom, in the presence of the Minister of Environment, launched the Catalytic Climate Action Project in Iraq."
    While the representative of the program, Zina Ali Ahmed, confirmed in her speech during the launch of the project, that "the project will support national efforts to adapt to and mitigate climate change and help the Iraqi government fulfill its commitments to the Paris Agreement," noting that "the duration of the project is two years."
    She added, "The primary focus of the project will be drought preparedness, water resource management, and renewable energy, the three areas that put Iraq at great environmental risk."
