The Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs announced the launch of subsidies for 82,000 beneficiaries in Baghdad and the provinces, which were suspended for years after their eligibility for these benefits was proven.
The head of the Social Protection Authority, Huda Sajjad, said, "The social protection departments in Baghdad and the governorates received 92,000 objections to stopping inclusion in social assistance to the higher committees, and the accepted objections amounted to (82) thousand objections after completing the required conditions, while the rest were returned."
And she pointed out that "subsidies and salaries of beneficiaries whose objections were accepted, were re-launched after they had been suspended for years."
