The Air Defense Command confirmed that Iraq's airspace is secure in terms of monitoring and detection, and Iraq's skies are under control, and that all aircraft enter Iraqi airspace in accordance with official approvals.
The Air Defense Commander, Lieutenant-General Maan Al-Saadi, said that the main operations center and guidance centers for radars and signal transmission will be built after the completion of the arrival of French radars before the end of this year.
Al-Saadi explained that drones can be detected, but not all of them. Small-sized aircraft with low altitudes cannot be detected because there is no detection system for low altitudes, while high and medium altitudes are detected by air defense systems.
