    Today, Saturday, the Joint Operations Command announced the opening of controlling headquarters at four border crossings to secure the movement of visitors.

    A statement by the Security Media Cell stated, "With the influx of visitors from different nationalities to commemorate the tenth of Muharram and the forty days of Imam Hussein, peace be upon him, the Joint Operations Command began opening controlling headquarters in the ports of Shalamcheh, Shayeb, Munthiriya and Zurbatiyah to secure the movement of the pilgrims to the holy Karbala through these ports and provide The appropriate security and service atmosphere for them.

    The statement added that "the Border Ports Authority, for its part, provided great facilities for visitors, in coordination and cooperation with the relevant security services."
