Economy News-Baghdad
European dealers said that the government grain buyer in Iraq has launched a tender to buy 50,000 tons of wheat flour.
They added that the deadline for submitting quotations in the tender is October 10.
Wheat can be obtained from optional sources, except for Russian wheat.
The volumes in Iraq's bids are nominal, and the country often buys more than what is required in the bid.
The Iraqi Ministry of Trade had said on September 19 that the country would announce an international tender to obtain 300,000 tons of wheat of various origins in the coming days.
