The Iraqi Foreign Ministry receives the credentials of a new German consul in Erbil
Shafaq News/ The Iraqi Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on Tuesday receiving the credentials of a new German consul in Erbil, the capital of Kurdistan Region.
Ministry spokesman Ahmed Al-Sahaf said in a statement received by Shafaq News Agency, "The deputy head of the Protocol Department, Samer Jamal Hassan, received the papers of the consular innocence of Klaus Streicher, the German Consul General in Erbil Governorate."
Hassan affirmed the department's readiness to provide all support and facilities to the German mission in the Republic of Iraq to ensure the success of its work and in a manner that serves the two friendly countries.
For his part, Streicher expressed his great gratitude for the good reception and hospitality, and for the facilities and support provided by the Protocol Department to the German mission.
