    [size=45]The government is trying to combat poverty, which has reached 25% of the total population, according to the latest official statistics, by launching the largest social research campaign in the poorest regions and districts.[/size]
    [size=45]The campaign includes about 1,800,000 families, and this campaign is part of the government program set by Prime Minister Muhammad Shayaa al-Sudani, and was followed up by the Minister of Labor Ahmed al-Asadi.[/size]
    [size=45]“The electronic window for inclusion in social protection opened in August 2022,” Najm Al-Aqabi, a spokesman for the Ministry of Labor, said in a statement to Al-Mada. unworthy.”[/size]

    [size=45]In turn, Sana al-Moussawi, the advisor to the Prime Minister for Social Protection Affairs, said in contact with (Al-Mada), that “the Sudanese has made the social protection file one of the priorities of his government program.”[/size]
    [size=45]Al-Moussawi added, “300,000 families were scheduled to be included, but it is hoped that the coverage will reach 600,000 families in the 2023 budget,” stressing that “the national campaign aims to prepare the most deserving families within the Social Protection Law in all governorates.”[/size]
    [size=45]She pointed out that “one million and 600 thousand families are registered in the database of the Social Welfare Authority and continue to receive salaries,” noting that “2,000 social researchers manage the work with follow-up by the minister and the supervision of the prime minister.”[/size]
    [size=45]Yesterday, Sunday, Prime Minister Muhammad Shia Al-Sudani announced the launch of the largest search campaign within the social protection network.[/size]
    [size=45]Al-Sudani’s media office stated in a statement received by (Al-Mada), that “in compliance with what came in the priorities of the government program to support the vulnerable and poor groups of society, to alleviate their suffering and provide them with decent livelihoods, the largest social field research campaign was launched with the participation of (2000) researchers from the Protection Authority.” Ministry of Labor, targeting 1,746,086 families who applied to be included in the amount of social assistance through the electronic window.[/size]
    [size=45]The statement added, "The launch of the search campaign comes in parallel with completing the data entry of more than one million and (500) thousand families covered by the social protection network in the system of increasing the ration items approved by the Council of Ministers, and the receipt will be starting from this month."[/size]
