    Baghdad Today - Special
Informed sources revealed, today, Thursday, large corruption files related to the salaries of officials from ministers and special grades in the previous Iraqi governments, while indicating that one of the former ministers earns more than one billion dinars until the moment of preparing the report.
The sources, who refused to be named, indicated to (Baghdad Today) that "many thefts occurred within the law, especially under the previous six governments, headed by the civil governor of Iraq, Paul Bremer, Iyad Allawi, Ibrahim Al-Jaafari, Nuri Al-Maliki, Haider Al-Abadi, Adel Abdul-Mahdi and Mustafa Al-Kazemi.” .
And the sources indicated, "There were many constitutional voids between those governments, in which politicians were keen to classify them according to the requirements of the stage in terms of (suspicious) financial and administrative entitlements that were passed only in order to pass the crises." .”
And the informed sources added, "At each of these stages, the political process required the appointment of people to run the state according to sectarian entitlements and quotas."
She explained that "some of these people worked in the government for about 10 years, while others did not continue to serve for a period of 6 months, including ministers and officials of special grades."
She pointed out that "the privileges obtained by the official (a minister or a special degree) amounted to imaginary amounts," noting that "this matter was not an obstacle to previous governments because of the financial and economic potential of the Iraqi state."
And she indicated that "the privileges granted to those who were in the position from one day onwards, and after the issuance of the ministerial order to appoint him, continued until this moment."
And the sources continued by saying that "the salaries of those in the position of minister or a special degree ranged between 4-8 million approximately, meaning that what an individual receives from them, given that his salary is 6 million, may reach within one year to approximately one billion and 224 thousand dinars.”
The informed authorities confirmed that "one of the former ministers (NF), whose service period ranged from 9 months to a year and two months, is still earning, as the lowest estimated value, about one billion and 224 million dinars, until the moment of preparing the report.”
The sources pointed out that "this process was calculated at the lowest estimate, in addition to the allocations that were buried in the archives of the ministries, and other privileges that we do not want to go into for fear of exposing the poor citizen to a shock."
The sources said, "We will suffice with mentioning some of what this minister obtained, including a car, a driver, and four protection elements for a period of 4 years, which one of the previous governments sponsored to pay from the people's livelihood, in In addition to obtaining two diplomatic jobs for his two daughters, the degree of general manager for his son, and hundreds of degrees for his first-degree relatives.
And she noted that "if the amount is divided into 420 days per day, he will get about 3 million dinars per day as an approximate limit, i.e. more than approximately one billion dinars per year."
Observers of political affairs appealed to Prime Minister Muhammad Shia'a al-Sudani to open the special grades file, despite the knowledge of the heavy legacies that were and still are the legacy of previous governments that relied on satisfying parties and officials in an unjustified way .
