    Economy News - Baghdad
The General Company for Mining Industries has achieved profits amounting to one billion dinars in its production of crude oil materials.
A spokesman for the Ministry of Industry and Minerals Saif Al-Din Ahmed said, in a statement reported by the official news agency "Waaa" and seen by "Al-Iqtisad News", that "the General Company for Mining Industries entered into a group of partnership contracts to establish a factory to produce (catpak and prime coat) and its raw materials from waste Crude Oil".
He pointed out that "the company achieved profits amounting to one billion dinars after the production of the two articles for export purposes."
In a related context, Ahmed stated that "Hammam Al-Alil Cement Factory in Mosul was referred to the investment in order to rehabilitate and operate it, especially since its production capacity is low."
It is noteworthy that the Ministry of Industry and Minerals announced earlier that it would allocate 70 billion dinars to establish two factories specialized in the production of cables and aluminum alloys.
