Today, Friday, the representative of the Al-Fateh Alliance, Suhaila Al-Sultani, confirmed that many files are still hindering the completion of the budget and sending it to the House of Representatives, pointing out that the outstanding files with the region represent the most prominent obstacles to the completion of the budget by the government.
Al-Sultani said in a press interview seen by “Takadam” that “there are many outstanding issues that need to be resolved before proceeding with sending the budget to the House of Representatives, including what is related to the proportions and revenues related to the region, as they need understanding and resolution.”
She added, "The file related to oil and gas needs understandings between all parties in order to resolve it, before proceeding with sending the budget to the House of Representatives for the purpose of voting on it."
And she indicated that “the file of imports that must be handed over to the federal government by the region represents a major obstacle to the completion of the budget, especially since the region refuses to hand over these imports and seeks to exploit political differences in order to acquire a large part of the revenues, although they do not represent its real dues.”
