    Shafaq News / Today, Monday, the Ministerial Council of Economy stressed the need for citizens to pay the installments of vertical residential investment complexes in Iraqi dinars, provided that the Central Bank of Iraq compensates investors in dollars.
    A statement issued by the council, received by Shafaq News agency, said; The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fuad Hussein, chaired today, Monday, the eighth meeting of the Ministerial Council for the Economy, in the presence of the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Planning, the Ministers of Trade, Agriculture, Industry, Labor and Social Affairs, the Secretary General of the Council of Ministers, the Governor of the Central Bank of Iraq and the President of the Council of Ministers. The National Investment Commission and Advisor to the Prime Minister for Legal Affairs.
    The statement added that "the council hosted the head of the Iraqi Economic Council, Ibrahim al-Baghdadi, to discuss the issue of paying the installments of investment vertical housing complexes by citizens in Iraqi dinars."
    The council agreed on "the need for continuous communication between investors in this sector and the Central Bank for the purpose of paying investors' needs of the dollar currency."
    The council also hosted, according to the statement, the head of the Iraqi Federation of Industries, Adel Akab, and completed discussions on the development of the Iraqi industrial private sector, and took many decisions that contribute to the advancement of this important sector, including the adoption of the market value for valuation of real estate instead of the value of estimation carried out by the real estate registration and tax departments. This value is even when selling, as well as facilitating the participation of the private sector in international conferences and exhibitions in coordination with the Ministry of Commerce.
    The Council also discussed the economic issues on its agenda and took many economic decisions in this regard.
