    Shafaq News/ The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Fouad Hussein stressed, on Tuesday, the importance of enhancing joint cooperation in the sectors of agriculture, tourism, climate change, education and Iraqi water management, with the Netherlands.



    The media office of the ministry said, in a statement received by Shafaq News agency, that Hussein received today, at the ministry's building, the Dutch Undersecretary of Foreign Affairs, Marcel de Vinck, and thanked the Dutch side for the cooperation in the field of training Iraqi diplomatic cadres and supporting Iraq in various fields.
    He pointed to the importance of activating and strengthening joint cooperation in various sectors, including agriculture, tourism, climate change, education and water management.
    Hussein stressed the presence of President Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid, at the head of a high-level delegation, to the water summit sponsored by the Netherlands this March in New York, due to the importance and priority of this important file for Iraq.
    And the minister indicated Iraq's keenness to achieve stability and balance in the region, balance and establish the best relations with countries according to mutual reconciliation.
    For his part, the Dutch Deputy Minister stressed the depth of bilateral relations with Iraq and the keenness to enhance cooperation and establish the best joint relations, pointing to the importance of strengthening cooperation in various fields according to joint plans and committees to be agreed upon.
    The Dutch official praised Iraq's role in bringing the views of different parties from the countries of the region closer together and achieving security and political stability, welcoming Iraq's recent diplomatic initiatives and restoring its leading role in the region.
