Finance Minister Taif Sami received, on Tuesday, the French ambassador to Baghdad, Eric Chevalier.
Sami stressed, according to a statement by the Ministry of Finance, "the strength of the cooperation relations between Iraq and France and the continuous development and growth they are witnessing in all fields."
During the meeting, they discussed issues of common interest and what contributes to strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries, especially with regard to the financial and economic field. The Minister of Finance indicated the importance of continuing to work on their development and pushing them towards more advanced levels for the benefit and development of the two countries and their peoples. ".
For his part, Chevalier affirmed, "His country's government supports the Iraqi government in all fields."
