    Today, Wednesday, the Parliamentary Finance Committee announced that the budget includes degrees of deletion and creation, while it indicated that the salary scale depends on the same financial allocation and achieves market stability and social justice.
    Committee member Mustafa Al-Karawi said, according to the official agency, that “the committee began, after its first reading of the budget law, to hold its meetings, and it continues until the completion of writing the special report on it to include it in the second reading in the upcoming sessions,” noting that “the mechanism for reducing the deficit is through a study Detailed budget and work to reduce unnecessary expenditures in the operational as well as investment budget.
    He added, "The committee will study the loans and their size with the size of the proven expenditures in order to reduce the unnecessary ones," noting, "There is a vision regarding the deficit and a strong study, but the real details are unclear, until the report is presented to the House of Representatives and the observations of the members of the House are received and delving into Holding meetings and meetings with the government and its representatives, after which the amount of the deficit is announced.
    And he stressed, “The budget amount has not been decided yet,” pointing out, “The last figure of the budget will be determined by studying the items in detail after addressing operational and investment expenses.”
    And he stated, “Efforts are continuing to expedite the submission of the budget report and present it to the House of Representatives at the earliest session next week.”
    And he stated, “The budget includes launching degrees of deletion and creation of ministries within the operational budget, with a discussion of the possibility of allocating degrees to some ministries that request that,” explaining: “We cannot refer to these degrees directly so as not to provoke the Iraqi people; But we must bear it in mind when we discuss the operating budget with the government.”
    Regarding the salary scale, Al-Karaawi stressed that “the salary scale is outside the budget so far; The fact that the issue is related to a committee that was formed by a Diwani order,” pointing out that “the government has studied and re-evaluated the salary scale and the distribution of expenditures during the fiscal year to the employees themselves in varying degrees and amounts.”
    He stated, "This matter is still under study by the committee that hosted the Finance Committee to find out what steps they have taken and to listen to their observations."
    He pointed out that “the issue of the salary scale has not been presented to the Council of Ministers yet,” pointing out that “it is awaiting the economic advisory opinion regarding the recent amendment, as well as the remarks of the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers.”
    And he continued, “The new scale achieves social justice, as one of the most important things that the committee members worked on is adopting the same financial allocation in the redistribution of salaries, meaning that there are no additional sums of money on the scale, but rather the actual expense,” explaining that “a ladder Salaries will cause stability in the local market, as it will reduce the differences between employees, since some salaries exceed two and a half million dinars, while there are employees who receive salaries of up to 350 thousand dinars.
    He stated that "the salary scale will achieve stability in the market, and as for prices, this is the responsibility of the state to control them through economic security to prevent cases of exploitation."
