Today, Friday, the head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, stressed the continuity of the achievements, while warning of agendas to confuse the stability of the center and the south.
Al-Hakim said in the Eid al-Fitr sermon that he delivered from his office in Baghdad: “The blessed month of Ramadan passed us this year with a great deal of security and political stability, harmony and social solidarity in our country, which we saw directly reflected on our honorable people in terms of the atmosphere of comfort.” year, optimism about the future, and hope for the continuation and accumulation of this positive and good atmosphere, which requires us to double work and close cooperation to preserve this growing and required political and social climate.
He added, "It must be emphasized that this collective optimism did not come from a vacuum, but rather came as a result of paths, breakthroughs and victories that the Iraqi people wrote in various fields during the past two decades."
And he indicated that “the democratic achievement is through the consolidation of the foundations of freedom, pluralism, and the peaceful transfer of power, which overcame decades of tyranny, dictatorship, and the dominance of one party and the sole ruler.”
Al-Hakim explained, “Our people’s constant equation is their possession of the power to stay or leave for everyone who serves their interests or deviates from the legal paths they impose, each according to their position, and this deliberative democratic achievement is the greatest victory for any people yearning for freedom, justice, and people’s rule for themselves.”
And he continued, “The other achievement is the unifying national identity of the Iraqis, which was represented in defeating the agendas of sedition, division, and division.
He noted that “what calls for pride is the talk of the Iraqi social components today, as it does not revolve around the orbit of compliments and slogans, but rather the orbit of mutual respect based on a single history and common geography and the need for solidarity, cooperation, and the appearance of unity and joint action, and this achievement represents the pillar of Iraq’s stability, strength and might at home.” And in international forums.
He pointed out that “the other great achievement is combating, dismantling, and defeating the dark terrorist networks and organizations that were removed from their ivory towers, false platforms, and spaces of their imaginary control, to caves and dark tunnels in the deserts, prairies, and mountains from which they came, and from there to the courts and prisons, as well as the escape of its members and lackeys to the outside.” Iraq".
