    Information / Baghdad...
Political analyst Ibrahim Al-Sarraj said that the Kurdistan region is still clouding the atmosphere regarding oil production and revenues, as well as the amounts collected from border crossings, with the aim of not delivering revenues to Baghdad.

Al-Sarraj told Al-Maalouma, “The government fell into a pitfall and sent sums of money to the Kurdistan region without any sign of hope for exporting oil through the region towards Turkey via the port of Ceyhan, in order to receive revenues from the region’s oil.”
He added, "The region is still dark about the process of oil production, marketing, or even smuggling, especially since oil produced in Kurdistan may be smuggled to other regions and countries, as Erbil has experience in this field."
He stated, "There is a clear reluctance from Erbil regarding the delivery of imports to Baghdad, at a time when the federal government has no control over the region's border crossings, and thus the continuing problem related to revenues and the lack of control over the crossings, which allows smuggling operations to continue." Ended 25 n
