    Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani confirmed today, Sunday, that the path of development will strengthen common ties with Turkey and the rest of the countries of the region, praising the enthusiasm of the Turkish side to participate in the major project.
    A statement from the Prime Minister’s Media Office, received by the Maalouma Agency, stated that “Prime Minister Muhammad Shiaa Al-Sudani received the Turkish Minister of Transport Abdulkadir Oraloglu, who visited the capital, Baghdad, in order to mature the common understandings between Iraq and Turkey, regarding the development road project.” .
    Al-Sudani stressed during the meeting that “the development road project is one of the important and strategic projects that the government is focusing on, and that its implementation will strengthen the common ties between Iraq, Turkey and the rest of the countries of the region within the common interests,” noting that “the project is the best, shortest, and least expensive corridor in terms of transportation.” Transit and linking the Middle East to the European continent.
    Al-Sudani praised the Turkish side’s enthusiasm for participating in the major project, stressing “the necessity of continuing technical dialogues between the two countries, to reach the economic model through which the project will be implemented.” For his part, the Turkish Minister of Transport reiterated his country’s “serious desire to actively participate in the road project.
