    The General Company for Southern Electricity Distribution announced today, Tuesday, the implementation of a large campaign to remove bottlenecks and introduce secondary stations in different areas of Basra Governorate.
    The company’s media stated in a statement received by “Al-Ma’louma” that, “Under the direct guidance of the Minister of Electricity, Ziad Ali Fadel, the staff of the General Company for Southern Electricity Distribution carried out a wide campaign to remove bottlenecks and introduce secondary stations in Basra Governorate.”
    He added, "The North Basra Electricity Branch, one of the branches of the General Company for Southern Electricity Distribution, worked to introduce and operate a 33 KV station within the city district, north of Basra."
    He pointed out, "The necessary winter preventive maintenance work on the electrical network lines continues."
