The leader of the Al-Fatah Alliance, Raad Al-Tamimi, confirmed on Saturday that it was not possible to postpone the parliament’s decision regarding the removal of American forces.

Al-Tamimi said in an interview with Al-Maalouma, “The American aircraft’s bombing of the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces in Jurf Al-Nasr two days ago is a crime and a violation of Iraq’s sovereignty and a confirmation that the forces present at the Ain Al-Assad and Al-Harir bases are not advisory but combat.”
He added, "The government is obligated to actually implement the decision of the House of Representatives in 2020, which guarantees the removal of any foreign combat force from the land of Iraq, including the American, since there is no need for its presence, stressing that "we deal with the Americans as an occupying force."
He pointed out that "all political forces support the option of removing American forces from Iraq, as they have become part of the state of instability, and targeting the headquarters of the Popular Mobilization Forces is another confirmation that they are working according to an agenda in support of the Zionist entity in the region."
The popular legal movement affirmed its intention to pursue the repeated violations of the United States of America against national sovereignty, stressing the necessity of taking a position regarding America’s violations of national sovereignty. Ended / 25 F
