{Local: Al-Furat News} The Interim Chargé d'Affaires of the Republic of Iraq in Manama, Minister Plenipotentiary Abdul Salam Muhaisen, met with the Bahraini Minister of Health, Jalila bint Al-Sayyid Jawad Hassan, at the headquarters of the Bahraini Ministry of Health.
A statement from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a copy of which {Al-Furat News} received, stated, “At the beginning of the meeting, the Chargé d’Affaires conveyed the greetings and greetings of the Minister of Health, Saleh Mahdi Al-Hasnawi, to his Bahraini counterpart. During the meeting, the historical and fraternal relations that bind the two countries and the development they are witnessing in all fields were reviewed, and preparations were discussed.” For the visit of the Iraqi Minister of Health to the Kingdom of Bahrain next month to participate in the Bahrain Conference and Exhibition 2023, the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding between the two countries in the health field was also discussed on the sidelines of the conference’s work and the possibility of cooperation in the field of investment in health infrastructure, medical supplies and medicines in a way that strengthens and advances bilateral relations. Moving forward between the two countries."
For her part, the Bahraini Minister of Health welcomed the visit of the Chargé d'Affaires and praised the depth of the fraternal relations between the two brotherly countries and peoples.
