    According to the statement, the Council Presidency expressed its “deep concern.” She called on the Commission to avoid errors and verify the devices used in the stations before conducting the general voting process for the elections.

    After 11 hours of special voting, which started at seven in the morning, at six in the evening yesterday, Saturday, December 16, 2023, the “special ballot” boxes were closed. For the 2023 provincial council elections, which witnessed a good turnout by members of the security forces and displaced people.

    Moments after the closure, the Commission’s teams began the counting, auditing, and counting of votes, while the “general suffrage” process is expected to begin tomorrow, Monday, December 18.
